Before Departure |
If bringing your own bike on a tour, be sure to service it paying particular attention to the moving parts such as the drivetrain and headset. Look out for
chain and cassette wear. If you intend to tour a mountainous area, be sure your gear selection is low enough to enable you to
climb steep hills fully laden in relative comfort.
